6 months, what!?

Last Friday Pete and I celebrated 6 months of being married! It does not feel like we have been married that long at all. Maybe that is because we have been away from each other for nearly half that time. Whatever the reason, time has flown!


I am not one to celebrate made up holidays but I thought this special occasion was worth a date night. Pete and I went out to eat at Carrabbas, a really good Italian restaurant, then went and got our wedding cake out of my parents' freezer and borrowed Star Trek while we were there.


While watching Star Trek we ate two large pieces of our wedding cake and still have enough left for our 1- and 2-year anniversaries. To our surprise it still tasted really good! My grandma is the best at making beautiful and delicious cakes! Thanks Grandma!


This really is not a great picture of us but it is the only one we took of the evening. We had fun celebrating the small milestone in our new lives together.
