All this time Pete has been so enthusiastic and excited about working toward attending medical school and eventually becoming some type of doctor. I haven't been so sure, however. It's just that he LOVES it. Too much! And I am a selfish wife, I don't like taking the backseat. :)
After this week though, I am all for med school. Because look how attractive he is in scrubs!
This summer Pete took a phlebotomy course and I could not admire him more. He would come home with bruises and holes in his arm from the other students practicing on each other and never complained about it. I could never take a course like that!
This past week he had his externship at the hospital where he drew blood on real people! For real reasons! Babies, old guys, crying people, you name it.
I have been so impressed with Pete as he works so hard to do something he loves.
I guess another Dr. Sundwall in the world wouldn't hurt ;)
