Peter's Blessing Day

We blessed Peter Michael Sundwall, Jr. on Sunday, July 5th in our Valley View 6th Ward. We had so much support from family and were so grateful to have so many loved ones there!

Four Generations of Peter Sundwall

I could tell Pete was nervous to give this little guy a blessing in church because we were still figuring out baby Peter's temperament and how to keep him happy. But baby Peter did great and hardly fussed (Daddy Peter too). Peter's blessing was sweet and we feel so grateful that he has come to our family despite the challenges he brought with him :)

Baby Peter wore the same little outfit Pete was blessed in as a baby! And Aunt Amy (Annie's sister) made little booties to match.

A sweet friend here in our ward (Joan Smith) made a special cake for his blessing day!

I was so worried about Pete hurrying off to teach Sunday School after our Sacrament meeting that I didn't get a picture of Baby Peter with his two grandpa's. Luckily, we had them both around for dessert later that night...just not looking quite as nice as they did earlier in the day ;)
