Stevens Family Reunion & A Sundwall Wedding

Whew! A  lot has been going on this summer and I need to document it all. So here we go.

In June we had a Stevens Family Reunion which began with Boofie and Grandpa's farewell. They will be heading out to Rome, Italy for 18 months in July and we will be taking care of and living in their house! So it was nice to go to their ward on Sunday and be able to meet a few people there and look forward to joining that ward in August. I personally loved their farewell because I got to hear a little more about their journey toward this mission. We look up to them and are so proud to call them our grandparents and great grandparents (for Afton).

After the farewell we were able to get a five generation photo with Afton, Peter, Mimi, Boofie, and Granny!

We then headed up to Park City and got to hang out at the lake the next day. Afton rocked the swimsuit and matching sunglasses that Mimi got her. She even went out on the boat and hated it, except for when the boat was moving--then she tolerated it.

It was fun to see Clara and Afton together who are only a couple months apart. Clara is very mobile and always has been. Although she is a couple months younger, Clara was walking circles around Afton while she was learning to crawl!

Afton's cousin on my side, Brigham, taught her how to give good hugs. So whenever she sees someone her size, she knows they are usually good for hugs. As with most things in her life, Clara doesn't do anything halfway! I could not stop laughing about this and the fact that I caught it all on camera!

Afton enjoyed the time with all her cousins. Lots of little people running around is a dream for Afton!

During the reunion, Uncle Mike (on the Sundwall side) got married. So we attended a couple days of the reunion and then came back down to attend the wedding. Ashlie (the bride) was nice enough to included Afton as a flower girl. Although she didn't walk down the aisle with the big girls she still got to wear the pretty dress and mess up all the pictures with her hysterics! We were all pretty tired by the end of the week!
