Home Owners!

Ha! Tricked ya!

We are not really home owners yet...that probably won't happen for years and years to come. But we are house-sitting for the summer which has given us a small taste of homeownership.

It is definitely weird to have more than one door to lock at night. Or a mailbox to check. Or a recycling can to take to the curb. Not to mention the yard. But we are settling in quite nicely.

Pete's aunt and her family moved to France for the summer. Her husband had an opportunity through his work to be there for a couple months and she served her mission there so they seized the opportunity to take their young family on a summer adventure.

Moving and adjusting to the new home has not been my favorite thing, but it is good for me to shake things up every so often.

Here are a few pictures of us packing up to move.

Sad faces. Because we are really going to miss this cute apartment we called home for the past year and a half. It was the first place (and only place so far) we called "ours." We loved the family whose basement we lived in and we really loved the ward we were in. It is sad to leave but we were grateful to have lived and been so happy here.
