This is a picture of Pete scuba diving in Honduras! We have had a pretty good year in terms of getting to do some fun things.

This guy also had a birthday in July. We celebrated by going to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Salt Lake City.

I had been there once on a business trip and about died at the steak. Except I don't even really like steak all that much. So I knew the second I tried it that some day Pete had to experience it. I told him about my visit to Ruth's Chris multiple times since my visit last September and I decided that his birthday would be the perfect excuse to spend way more money than we ever would for a steak.

Pete was skeptical because he has had some pretty good steaks in his life and he wasn't sure it would live up to all the hype. But at Pete's first bite I knew there was no turning back.

From the salad to dessert we enjoyed every last bite of our meal. Pete still talks about that steak he had--at least 3 times a week.

I enjoyed watching him savor every bite of that steak and still think about how much fun it was to spend a fancy evening celebrating my man and his love of steak.

Here's to another year.
