Afton Girl

Afton has so much personality. She LOVES to be goofy and get a laugh out of people. This comes through in the silly faces she has started making in photos.

I did not catch her off guard in this photo. This is one of her poses. Ha!

Afton is literally one of my best friends. She is just my little buddy throughout the day and we but heads sometimes but for the most part she is just fun! I have a hard time remembering that she is only two years old, because she acts very mature for her age most of the time.

Afton has a new found love for summer sausages and little smokies since being introduced to them over the holidays. Whenever we go to the store she asks me to buy them.

Afton is obsessed with dress ups. Since learning to dress herself we go through dozens of different outfits each day. Mostly princess dresses but also anything fancy and even jammies.

 Afton still loves to sing. She picks up songs after hearing them only once or twice. We get a kick out of her singing because she often just makes up words (or gibberish) that sound similar to the real words of any song. She has pretty good pitch too! Afton also loves to dance to music and isn't afraid to close her eyes and just feel the music!

Afton loves nursery at church. She will come home and repeat the songs they sing and tell us about the lessons they learn. She was one of 20+ kids in our old nursery so the new ward where she is one of 5 is a bit of an adjustment.

Though very silly, Afton is also loving and sweet, especially to her little brother. Sometimes when he is napping she will ask, "Where is my baby!?" While she has her moments of pushing the limits, Afton is good and kind and we are so proud of the person she is becoming!
