We started a tradition of opening a Christmas book every night to read before bedtime. Thanks to the help of Drew and Ash we were able to start our own collection! The other books were mostly borrowed from Grandma Rita or from the library.
We made a Christmas countdown chain to help us remember when Christmas would be here (so Afton didn't have to ask every morning if today was Christmas)
I chose this photo op, however, because we saw Santa! But Afton was too nervous to sit on his lap. He gave her a piece of chocolate as we were leaving though so he won her heart.
Doing some Christmas shopping and Afton insisted I take her photo like this.
Peter loved our Christmas tree lights
More holiday shopping. Yay for happy kids!
We moved a week before Christmas and Afton went to stay down in Utah county with her grandparents. The Stevens family had a fun party and we were so glad Afton was able to go while we packed up and moved. She had a ball playing with cousin Clara!
Dad insisted Afton play in the snow with him. She wasn't too sure about getting bundled up, but once she was outside she didn't want to come back in.
Gingerbread cookies we made for Santa!
A donut date with Dad!
And, of course, the Lights at Temple Square!
