Last Hurrah

Each year we have a little tradition of staying a couple nights in Salt Lake after Christmas and before school starts back up again with the Sundwalls. We always have fun eating, shopping, and just hanging out.
The adults wanted to the newest Hunger Games so I stayed with the kids and we went and had a yummy Kneader's breakfast, played at the dinosaurs, saw the fountains, and fed the fish!
We took Afton ice skating for the first time. She was hesitant about doing it, although she had been talking about ice skating for a couple of months. I didn't want to push it since I knew it would just be torturous for everyone but when she decided she wanted to do it I jumped on board too. The family was all nice enough to trade off holding Baby Peter so we could go with her for a bit. She still wasn't so sure about how fun it was at the time but still talks about how fun she had ice skating!
It is always such a fun little getaway before real life hits us in the face after the holidays! Thanks Sundwalls!!
